Nicolas Péjout joins Paris-Dauphine as Chief Operating Officer (directeur général des services)
Nicolas Péjout will take up his functions on May 14th 2018. His mission: assist the President’s team in implementing the university’s strategic projects and priorities.
Nicolas Péjout joins Paris-Dauphine at a critical juncture where key challenges abound: consolidate PSL University’s organization and position, strengthen Paris-Dauphine’s international reach, drive the university’s major infrastructure renovation program, and organize Paris-Dauphine’s 50th anniversary celebrations. The Chief Operating Officer plays a key role in assuring that all parts of the university’s organization work together smoothly and efficiently, by organizing and coordinating its services, driving our quality process, and strengthening university-wide interaction and cooperation.
Nicolas Péjout has been a member of Science Po’s Executive Committee since 2013. At Science Po, he was in charge of the institution’s Executive Education, Summer School sessions, and eLearning activities, as well as promoting the school’s cultural heritage. He was Science Po’s Director of Student Life from 2011 to 2013.
Nicolas Péjout is 39 years old. He graduated from Science Po Paris in 1999 with a Master’s degree in Public Law and Economics. He holds an honors BA in Political Science from Stellenbosch University (South Africa), and a PhD in Socio-Economics from the École des hautes Études Sciences Sociales. From 2002 to 2005, he worked at the Institut Français in South Africa. In 2005, he moved to the French Ministry of Foreign Affair’s international cooperation directorate, where he remained until 2008 when he joined Eurogroup Consulting. At Eurogroup, his work focused primarily on the area of Human Resources. During his tenure there, Nicolas Péjout also worked as a research associate with the Institut d'études politiques de Bordeaux’s LAM (ex CEAN) research center.
