Bloomberg comes to Dauphine !

09.12.2014

Dauphine now has a dedicated Bloomberg terminal space - adjacent the Reuters trading floor.

Thanks to a dedicated open-access space in the Interdepartmental Center for Operational IT and Multimedia  Resources  (CRIO) -  room A210 -  Dauphine students, faculty and researchers will now have direct access to Bloomberg information services, an indispensable tool for all who study, teach or carry out research in economics, finance and business. Classes will also be organized around the terminals.

Today, Bloomberg is the leader in global business and financial information; it has become a necessity for trading floors and for finance and business in general. The Bloomberg terminal room will give students the opportunity to explore techniques of acquiring, analyzing and disseminating economic and financial information in today's world.

Whether you are interested in breaking news or in more long term economic trends, need to access up-to-date data or use decision tools, are gathering theme-based information or communicating in real-time, Bloomberg terminals offer you the news, real-time data, analytics and tools you need.  A veritable Swiss Army Knife of Financial Information, we expect it to be in high demand!

The project was initiated by Philippe Bernard, researcher at Dauphine, and was made possible thanks to the PSL- Paris Sciences et Lettres license program.
