Research Assistance and Support Services was created in 2006 from two independent departments: the Research Promotion and Funding office and Research and Thesis Services..

Our mission is to coordinate and promote Dauphine research and provide operational support for the Université Paris-Dauphine research centers and doctoral school. 

We are responsible for defining the university's 4-Year Research Program and for developing corporate and academic research partnerships in France and internationally. 

We advise and support PhD candidates during their research and thesis period, guide them in their professional projects and promote PhD candidates, graduates and researchers internationally.

Research assistance and support services is organized around two core activities:

Research & Thesis services are responsible for:

• Permanent Secretariat of the Scientific Advisory Council and its commissions
• Control and follow-up of research contract policy issues
• PhD candidate-relations: orientation, information & administration up-to and including thesis defense in collaboration with the Doctoral School
• Coordinating thesis defense procedures and calendars

Promotion & Funding services assist individual researchers and the Dauphine research centers by:

• Providing information on protecting and promoting research and researchers: intellectual property, legislative measures in favor of innovation and research, research partnership contracts
• Keeping researchers informed: national and international calls to tender, research grant opportunities, calls to submit research program proposals, conferences, seminars and training opportunities.

We also assist researchers in drafting and negotiating research and editorial contracts, in preparing grant requests and research program proposals.
