Chief Operating Officer

The Chief Operating Officer assists the President in implementing university strategy and supervises university departments and services in their day-to-day operations.

Implementing university strategy

• Drives and supervises implementation of the university’s short, middle and long term strategy: diversifying resources, strengthening ties with business and economic stakeholders, developing our international presence and recognition
• Assists the President in the decision-making process
• Defines a financial strategy consistent with the university’s goals
• Advises on and alerts the President to risks whatever their nature. 

Supervises day-to-day operations

• Leads and manages all university services:  administration, support services and shared services
• Monitors, evaluates, adapts and modernizes organization on an on-going basis to meet performance and quality objectives
• Promotes a Human Resources policy focused on improving organizational efficiency, increasing individual expertise and developing well-being in the workplace.
