Academic and Student Life Council (CEVU)
The Academic and Student Life Council consists of 30 members: 15 faculty and staff representatives (12 faculty and 3 staff), 12 student members, 2 members from the business and economic community and 1 ex-officio member.
The Academic and Student Life Council is an advisory body and as such:
- drafts policy proposals regarding curriculum for full-time and continuing educations programs
- draws up the university's national accreditation requests (demandes d'habilitation à délivrer des diplômes nationaux)
- develops and coordinates all measures designed to improve student academic and living conditions and promote student cultural, athletic, social and civic activities
- guarantees student union rights and civil liberties
