Objectifs
The objective of this Masters course is to prepare students for posts as consultants, training managers and researchers. Its specificity lies in the fact that it approaches organisations (companies, employment areas, public institutions, voluntary sector) in a multidisciplinary way based on the findings of the human sciences (sociology of work and activity, sociology of organisations, psychosociology, clinical analysis, language analysis).
The training is designed so as not to isolate the intervention process from consideration of the economic and social changes which guide the activities of businesses or institutions (concentration, globalisation, modernisation of public companies, transformation of wage relationships, new modes of management and managerial mobilisation, appeals to ethics and moral values), while focusing on the processes (subjective, interactional, group, psychic) which underlie the experience of the actors.
In particular, the accent is on the design of approaches which take into account the impact of new management rationalities on professional and social identities. This Masters course is based on the analysis and evaluation of the socio-economic practices of organised environments rather than the implementation of mobilisation and prescription techniques. Its purpose is to promote a management concept which takes into account the subject and the actor, analysed in their interactions at work.
Stages
The placement, which lasts a minimum of 3 months, takes place during the second semester.
Alongside the specific tasks that may be required by the company, the student will complete a Masters dissertation which will report on analysis of general value. Each student will have a mentor at his/her placement site and an academic mentor from the teaching body.
