Objectifs
The MODO Masters, taking into account its multi-disciplinary nature, is aimed at students who hold a Mathematics, IT, Economics or Management M1 and who took operational research or quantitative techniques options during their course. It is also aimed at students from Engineering or Management Grandes Écoles who have taken similar options. This specialisation places emphasis not only on the mastery of concepts and tools belonging in the broadest sense to operational research and decision support, and on the associated IT techniques, but also on the methodological aspects and conditions of introduction of methods and tools in organisations.
The aim of this specialisation is to provide solid training oriented towards decision support and operational research. This programme enables students to acquire a good command of the existing concepts, methodologies and tools in decision support. Moreover, it develops in them the ability to conduct work of a multidisciplinary nature intended to establish, on a scientific basis, the study of concrete decision support problems posed at various levels in organisations.
