The purpose of the CCA Masters is to prepare students for jobs in accounting, management control and finance and particularly for accounting expertise and auditing. The objective is to enable students to acquire institutional, technical and methodological skills which make them operational in roles which they will be expected to occupy in the context of their professional life.

An obligatory placement of a duration of 12 weeks, from January to April, during year M2.

Part of the training may take place abroad.

The STCF-CCA route is carried out over three years (for all information, refer to fact file L3 STCF). Obtaining the CCA Masters diploma CCA allows the student to benefit from equivalences for five of the examinations for the Diplôme Supérieur de Comptabilité et de Gestion (DSCG); the student may, if he/she wishes, also sit the two obligatory national examinations with no exemptions (1. Legal, tax and personnel management; 4. Accounting and auditing) of this same DSCG. Successful completion of 4 out of 6 DSCG exams gives the option of beginning the accountancy placement, which lasts for three years. The two remaining examinations must be validated over the first two years of the placement.

Non-CCA M1s, or training of the same nature and level may also be accepted under certain conditions (see the conditions of access below). Access to Masters 2 CCA at Paris Dauphine university is subject to prerequisites in the following areas: accounting, management control and finance. Normal access occurs following validation of an M1 CCA year. Admission conditions are as follows: o For students who have validated their Masters 1 CCA at Paris-Dauphine university, admission may be authorised, following examination of their dossier. The examination of the dossier may be followed up with an interview. Students who have validated a Master 1 CCA at a university other than Paris Dauphine may be admitted following examination of their dossier (which in particular must include a thematic essay). The examination of the dossier may be followed up with an interview. o Other students of Paris Dauphine university or those from outside the university may e admitted following examination of their dossier (which in particular must include a thematic essay) when they have validated an M1 comprising the following three core subjects: general and financial accounting, management control and finance. For these subjects or groups of subjects, their average grade, over the course of year M1, must be at least 12/20. The examination of the dossier may be followed up with an interview.

At the end of this training, students may envisage beginning their career in the following work areas: external or internal auditing, business consultancy, financial and accounting management, management control, risk management, mergers-acquisitions.
