Objectifs

The Mathematics specialisation of the M12E licence (undergraduate degree) offers two programme routes centred around Applied Mathematics (particularly optimisation, probabilities and statistics) supplemented by optional courses in Economics, Finance and IT, the first stage in a route enabling the student to acquire skills highly valued in numerous branches and activities of the tertiary sector: marketing, market finance, scoring, sampling, actuarial science, processing of mass data, image processing, Internet, multimedia, mathematical modelling and analysis etc. This route offers a series of options oriented towards the modelling of finance and economics problems and towards their numerical solution. This route is recommended in order to pursue, among others, MIDO Masters with specialisation in MMD, Actuarial science, EDP-MAD, ISF, MASEF, MVA or TSI.

Stages

The programme includes a placement of at least 7 weeks.

International

The programme may be pursued in part abroad.
