Why offer for-credit athletics courses ?

At Dauphine, we believe that Sport like arts & culture are essential to a well-rounded university life; they are a source of equilibrium,  encourage community spirit and teamwork and contribute to personal development. We believe that sports, arts & culture should be an integral part of the university curriculum.

In keeping with those precepts, we offer for-credit athletics courses to all students from Bachelor’s through PhD.

Our for-credit athletics program:

  • Offers practical, physical and theoretical training in exchange for significant E.C.T.S. credits in a wide range of disciplines
  • Recognizes the skills of students who are top-level athletes and gives them the opportunity to use those skills and earn credits while competing in F.F.S.U. (the French Federation of University Sports) competitions.

Who may take for-credit athletics ?
