Real-estate agencies :

There are numerous agencies in Paris and the surrounding area. They generally ask for an agency’s fee, a financial guarantee and three months’ rent in advance.

University residences :

The Crous student residences have only a few rooms available. Comfort is often basic but the rent is low (250 euros / 350 euros / per month). Once accepted, the room may not be cancelled afterwords.

Financial support for accommodation :

You can apply for housing assistance to pay for your accommodation if you have limited resources. Housing assistance is paid by the Caisse d'Allocations Familiales de Paris (CAF). To get CAF you need to
