Dauphine's continuing education policy is an important part of our strategy
We have built a dynamic continuing education policy tailored to Dauphine's short, medium and long-term strategic goals.
Policy and programs are set forth in a 4-year plan and up-dated annually. They reflect Dauphine's development projects and take into account staff and faculty's needs and aspirations. Continuing Education policy and programs comply with the French civil service's continuing education reform, known as the DIF.
Programs are designed to serve the University's goals, give staff and faculty on-going opportunities to up-date and grow their skill-sets and maximize competency.
You can access the Continuing Education Plan on request through the Dauphine web site.
Florence Gelin heads a 3-person team dedicated to advising and assisting staff and faculty on issues involving career planning and management. The team can help you to:
- define, or fine-tune your career strategy
- plan an educational sabbatical or validate past professional experience (VAE)
- prepare a career evaluation
- obtain an individual continuing education grant
- access information about civil service or other competitive exams…
In 2010, Dauphine offered continuing education training to over 556 individuals representing some 5,500 course hours in all areas of study: professional, IT, languages, preparation for civil service exams….
