Start-up of the month: a Paris-Dauphine mobile application that lets friends share their restaurant bill

Beta test Billee and help a Paris-Dauphine alumnus become a tech champion!

The start-up was created Ghislain Rouëssé, a Dauphine alumnus who developed a digital solution after he had had his restaurant experience ruined when it came time to share the bill. Billee makes it easy for friends to share a restaurant bill without having to burden the waiter/waitress with the calculation (a thankless task of no economic value to the person who performs it!). A win-win proposition for everyone!

No need to wait for the waiter/waitress, goodbye credit card terminal, and hello to instant expense statements! With Billee, you can access your restaurant bill via a smartphone: you just choose the dishes you ordered, the bottle of wine you all shared, then validate and pay! No cash to take out of your wallet, not even for the tip – it’s all in the app!

Billee is being incubated at Paris-Dauphine’s D-Incubator. You can contribute to making the start-up a success by downloading and beta testing the app and providing Billee with your feedback.

From now until February 16th Billee will reimburse 10€ on your first app payment at Sorella (13 Avenue Bugeaud, 75016 Paris), and the restaurant will offer you a coffee with sweets or a non-alcoholic beverage “on the house” – so don’t wait, TEST BILLEE NOW!

We are also open to all suggestions of restaurants who may be interested in the service!
